Pickens County Selects KeyMark Inc. As Their Document Imaging Provider

Pickens County has replaced their existing document imaging system to more efficiently and cost-effectively meet the needs of their constituents.

Pickens County has chosen South Carolina based, software integrator KeyMark Inc. as their document imaging technology provider. With KeyMark, Pickens County will provide their constituents with access to information in a timely fashion while meeting government standards and meeting compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The focus of Pickens County is on serving their citizens and effectively using tax dollars to improve the management of government documents. "If we're not efficient, we're not utilizing tax dollars appropriately," says Marion Powell, Director of IT for Pickens County.

With the new system, each county office and department utilizing document imaging is able to maintain its independent business process while allowing information to be shared between departments through a secure system. From voter registration to court records and tax records management, Pickens County is providing greater access to more information in a more timely fashion - better serving their constituents.
