Oswego County, NY Begins E-Recording With Simplifile

New York has expanded electronic recording of documents and land records in Oswego County, teaming up with Simplifile to enable customers to submit documents online to the clerk’s office for faster, more cost-effective recording.

Oswego County, NY (PRWEB) - The Oswego County Clerk’s office has implemented electronic recording (e-recording) of documents and land records with Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service, providing customers with a faster, more cost-effective document recording method.

“Instead of having to drive to the clerk’s office to walk-in documents or send a document by mail, customers will be able to have their documents stamped, recorded and returned from the clerk’s office in a matter of minutes,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “It’s faster, more convenient, and allows customers to retain control of their original documents.”

Recording fees and payments can also be processed electronically through Simplifile using Automated Clearing House, eliminating check-writing expenses.

High-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to begin e-recording with Simplifile.
