Nuance Extends Partnership With Hyland Software To Deliver Nuance eCopy ShareScan To Hyland OnBase Customers

Hyland OnBase Connector for Nuance’s eCopy ShareScan enables healthcare organizations to scan from the MFP or scanner directly into a patient record in OnBase

Nuance Communications, Inc., recently announced the Company partnered with Hyland Software to enable eCopy ShareScan to scan directly into Hyland Software’s OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) system, enabling healthcare organizations to optimize distributed document capture. This integration accelerates processing of patient records helping organizations achieve the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Stage 7 of the Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model. OnBase is the primary document management and electronic clinical capture technology in a majority of health systems that have achieved HIMSS Stage 7. With eCopy ShareScan and OnBase, these organizations improve patient care through accelerated capture and immediate access to patient information.
