Jefferson County, Ala., Launches E-Recording With Simplifile

The Jefferson County Probate office now offers electronic recording through Simplifile, giving customers a faster, more cost-effective document recording option online. Jefferson County is the fifth Alabama county to adopt e-recording with Simplifile.

Jefferson County, AL (PRWEB) - The Jefferson County Probate office now offers electronic recording of land record documents through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service, giving customers a faster, more efficient document recording option online.

Judge Alan King, Presiding Probate Judge, said, “We are excited to offer e-recording in Jefferson County, which includes both the Birmingham and Bessemer courthouses. Using Simplifile’s secure, web-based service, customers such as attorneys and title offices can now scan or upload documents and submit them electronically to the probate office. In minutes, the documents can be reviewed, recorded, and returned back to the customer.
