New markets, new products and continued customer expansion fuel company's growth
ibml, a leading provider of scanning and document capture solutions and services, recently announced that the company delivered a record number of ImageTrac scanners during its recently completed fiscal year. ImageTrac unit sales and revenues were up 13 percent compared to the previous fiscal year, significantly contributing to the company's profitability. ibml has now shipped nearly 1,700 ImageTrac scanners across 42 countries.
The year was also marked by major advancements in the company's SoftTrac Capture Suite software. ibml shipped three new releases, incorporating enhancements such as high-volume searchable PDF conversion, logo recognition, and expanded quality control functionality. To further expand its software business, ibml hired Dan Lucarini as Chief Marketing Officer. Lucarini brings over 20 years of product strategy and business development expertise, having held senior positions at leading enterprise content management companies such as Kofax and OpenText. ibml also named Chad Eiler as the company's first dedicated software product manager.
