Concept Searching's conceptClassifier For SharePoint Again Receives Industry Recognition As Trend-Setting Product By KMWorld

conceptClassifier for SharePoint Add-in Capabilities Garner Recognition for Flexible Deployment Options

Mclean, VA And Stevenage, UK (PRWEB) - Concept Searching, the global leader in multi-term metadata generation, auto-classification, and taxonomy management software, is pleased to announce that KMWorld has recognized conceptClassifier for SharePoint as a Trend-Setting product of 2017.

To be selected, KMWorld evaluates both new and existing products that have incorporated new capabilities or technology breakthroughs. A key selection criterion is how effective technology breakthroughs serve the full spectrum of constituencies, specifically organizations’ customers.

Concept Searching’s conceptClassifier for SharePoint has received this accolade for nine years now. Michael Paye, Chief Technology Officer at Concept Searching, commented, “The recognition as a trend-setting product reflects our continued investment in developing our SharePoint suite of products, to apply intelligent metadata tagging to address a wide range of business challenges for our clients. This includes providing optimum infrastructure and flexible deployment options tailored to clients’ needs.”

Concept Searching’s conceptClassifier for SharePoint is available as a provider-hosted Add-in in the SharePoint 2013, 2016, and Office 365 environments. The Add-in based model offers several advantages over previous server-side iterations. The speed of processing in both on-premises and SharePoint Online environments is significantly faster. The Add-in also requires far less configuration, with SharePoint sources not requiring user credentials to be defined. This results in a decrease of deployment resources and costs.

Microsoft is promoting the development of Add-ins to boost its ecosystem of third party applications and services available. Add-ins form an important component of Microsoft's plans for Office, especially as the company faces increased competition from startups and large companies alike. Allowing users to access other tools and applications enhances the utility of both Microsoft's software and that of the third parties’ contributing Add-ins.

Provider-hosted SharePoint Add-ins include components that are deployed and hosted outside the SharePoint environment. The conceptClassifier for SharePoint Add-in is registered with the SharePoint environment and linked to the remote Concept Searching server, or servers. This enables two-way communication between SharePoint and the core Concept Searching services.
