AMS Imaging announced recently that it has entered into a reseller agreement to resell products from OPEX Corporation, a recognized global leader in high-speed automation and document scanning equipment. AMS is New England's leading provider of document management solutions and production scanning services. The company will now resell the OPEX image capture platform as part of their solutions for streamlining the complete document management process. The aim is to help customers greatly reduce the time and labor associated with processing documents of any type.
Opening and prepping documents by hand is inefficient. Manually key-entering data is costly. Routing paper and searching for misplaced documents is labor intensive. Together, OPEX and AMS tackle all of these issues. The OPEX AS7200i, AS7200t, and DS2200 scanners offer a process in which one operator can remove documents from envelopes and scan them in a single pass. This greatly reduces document preparation time when converting paper documents to electronic images.
