Access

Formatta 8.10 Enables Organizations To Collect Data in Electronic Forms and Share it Securely and Intelligently With Other Business Applications Using Web Services

Sulphur Springs, TX (PRWEB) - Access today announced the release of Formatta 8.10, the latest version of its leading web-based, paperless enterprise forms management platform. The release includes web services autowrite and accessibility features. Formatta technology empowers organizations in all industries to:

  • Design and create electronic versions of paper forms easily
  • Publish e-forms and manage updates quickly and securely
  • Organize and administer all enterprise e-forms in one place
  • Access and approve e-forms using virtually any device
  • Complete e-forms online or offline and submit them anytime
  • Authenticate and sign e-forms officially without paper
  • Distribute e-forms and notify others as part of any process
  • Output and integrate e-forms and data with other systems

“Advanced enterprise integration enables our customers to extract maximum value out of their paperless forms,” said Access CEO Tim Elliott. “By electronically collecting accurate, validated data at the start of a process and putting it to use automatically inside business, industry and other applications, workflow processes are completed more intelligently in record time—without errors, bottlenecks or wasted effort.”

Release Highlights

Formatta 8.10 strengthens its enterprise-class platform with the new web services autowrite feature:

  • Integrating e-forms and collected data with systems like ERP (enterprise resource planning), ECM (document and content management), HCM (human capital or HR management) and other applications that accept web services, is faster, easier and more secure.
  • Any third-party system (and multiple systems simultaneously) with a web services interface can use data inside a Formatta e-form—to create and update records, initiate conditional workflow steps, automate manual tasks, feed data to reporting/business intelligence (BI) tools and more.
  • Web services autowrite capabilities create tight integration without requiring direct access to third-party and proprietary databases when sharing e-form data with other applications.
  • Formatta’s combination of web services autofill (pulling data from other systems into e-forms) and autowrite (pushing data into other systems) enables 100 percent paper-free forms processes.
  • Formatta 8.10 improves the user experience with new accessibility features:
  • For the visually impaired, all text displayed in a Formatta e-form can be read aloud by screen readers, such as JAWS and ChromeVox.
  • Enhancement supports the United Stated Government’s Section 508 requirements and World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative–Accessible Rich Internet Applications (WAI-ARAI) specification for making technology accessible to people with disabilities.

“The ability to seamlessly integrate with enterprise applications through industry-standard web services—pulling data from them into our electronic forms and then pushing collected data back out to those systems—really sets our platform apart,” said Access CTO Chuck Demaree. “This approach simplifies the entire integration process while providing organizations with greater data flexibility, security and control.”
