Legal & General America, Inc. Leverages ibml Scanning Technology for Back-File Conversion

ibml recently announced that Legal & General America, Inc. is driving the back-file conversion of legacy insurance policies with ibml's ImageTrac 3e document scanner. Banner Life Insurance Company and William Penn Life Insurance Company of New York are Legal & General America companies.

By converting its legacy insurance policies into electronic records, Legal & General America, Inc. expects to reduce its physical storage requirements and respond more quickly to inquiries regarding these policies.

With recent announcement, ibml now has more than a dozen U.S. insurance companies, including several of the country's largest insurers, using its document scanning solutions.
