Document Imaging: Kodak's Document Imaging Business And BizTech Solutions, Inc., Work Together To Provide Data Management Solutions In Healthcare
Eastman Kodak Company recently announced its Document Imaging business is working with Work Process Automation Solutions Provider BizTech Healthcare Solutions, Inc., in providing revenue cycle management solutions for the healthcare business sector.
BizTech, a Kodak Authorized Imaging Reseller, is a single source supplier of enterprise content management solutions for a variety of industries. It announced forming the healthcare-focused business in April.
Kodak is providing BizTech technical support on KODAK document scanners and solutions, and marketing assistance including telemarketing activities designed to cultivate interest among prospective end users, follow-up communications with respect to sales leads, joint sales calls and trade show participation.

The ProMed Capture Solutions feature a Patient Registration Capture solution as well as high-volume batch scanning and Chart Scanning solutions. The Patient Registration application is a web-based workflow for routing registration and patient documents throughout the healthcare facility including Admissions, Billing and Laboratories. It joins BizTech's ProMed Revenue Cycle Series of solutions that includes ProMed HIM Charge Entry and Coding application, ProMed EOB Processing and HIPAA Audit Log. Healthcare facilities can take advantage of BizTech's web-hosting technologies and services based on the MICROSOFT platform and which interface with many commonly used healthcare systems.
