SharePoint: Business Technology Partners "Revs Up" Web Site Redesign For Power Sports Factory Utilizing Microsoft SharePoint
Business Technology Partners (BTP), Inc., one of New York City's premier IT consulting firms, announced recently that it has successfully designed and launched a new Web site for Power Sports Factory, Inc. The new PowerSportsFactory.com will be instrumental in helping the distributor and reseller promote a new line of Andretti motorbikes and Yamati scooters. Additionally, BTP is implementing a multi-phase NetSuite ERP implementation to power a range of business processes such as eCommerce, inventory, accounting and supply chain management.
Based in New Jersey, Power Sports Factory imports, markets, distributes and sells Andretti branded scooters. In addition to the new Web site, BTP completely redesigned and implemented a new voice and data network. Utilizing an Avaya IP Office telephony platform, Power Sports Factory now has a new unified communications solution, which also includes an Intermedia Hosted Exchange server. BTP utilized Microsoft SharePoint to manage the entire Web site redesign, and improve communication and collaboration between Power Sports Factory, its branding firm and the project team.
"For a sales oriented business like ours, it is essential to utilize technology to communicate with customers and partners, as well as the our internal team, regardless of where they are located," said Steve Kempenich, CEO of Power Sports Factory, Inc. "Serving as our Virtual CTO, BTP has guided us through the process of upgrading our IT infrastructure, redesigning our Web site and giving us the tools to deliver responsive customer service which allows us to keep pace with our aggressive growth plan."
As part of the scope, BTP designed an interactive consumer-centric Web site to promote Power Sports Factory's full line of products. BTP also integrated a bar-coding system to streamline inventory and workflow. The new Web site was unveiled last week at the 2008 Dealer Expo, where Power Sports Factory introduced a new line of Andretti motor bikes. As part of a multi-phase deployment, BTP will integrate NetSuite to manage eCommerce transactions and all back-end accounting, inventory, sales, executive reporting and supply chain functions.
"By providing Power Sports Factory with a completely redesigned IT infrastructure and a new eCommerce-driven Web site with integrated back-office functionality, Power Sports Factory is well-positioned for growth and will be able to aggressively market their new line of Andretti motorbikes," said Joshua Aaron, President of Business Technology Partners. "As their IT solutions provider, we served as the Virtual CTO helping and planning the entire strategy as well as providing continuous and ongoing support and maintenance through our virtual MIS program."
