System Enables the Capture and Extraction of Data from Thousands of Invoices Each Month, Providing Faster Processing Times and Significant Cost Savings.

Kofax plc, the leading provider of Intelligent Capture & Exchange solutions, recently announced it will provide one of the largest not-for-profit hospital systems in the U.S. and one of the largest hospital providers in California with an invoice processing solution. The value of the contract to Kofax is more than $200,000.

The organization will use the Kofax solution to capture and extract data from incoming invoices, transform it into structured electronic information and export it to a Lawson ERP system. The software will enable the hospital system to automate manual, labor-intensive and paper-centric business processes, reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. It will also ensure that the extracted data is more accurate, leading to fewer exceptions, faster processing times and even greater cost savings. This enables the customer to improve cash management, maintain preferred vendor relationships and leverage early payment discounts.
