SecureIt is a Florida-based company that provides revenue recovery, secure data collection and retention services for small to medium-sized cellular phone retailers. A primary service SecureIt offers is organizing, indexing and storing large volumes of contract paperwork that retailers are required to maintain.
Challenge: Previous Document Management System was Too Slow
SecureIt invested in an expensive document management system but found that indexing times ranged from thirty seconds to one minute per page. SecureIt processes thousands of documents daily and needed a document management solution that could keep up with the volume.
SecureIt began the search for a new document capture solution by evaluating systems based on how fast they could process and index documents. Compatibility with SecureIt's existing scanning hardware was also a top priority. While researching alternative systems, SecureIt tested the trial version of the EMC Captiva QuickScan Pro capture software that came bundled with their Fujitsu fi-5650C scanner.
